Cutting is a crucial step in the process of enhancing gemstones, in maximising brilliance, colour, weight and unique characteristics. In this highly specialised one-on-one experience you will learn the fundamentals of faceting and masterfully cut a faceted stone or cabochon. At the end you will take the stone with you.

As a first step towards creating a special piece of jewellery or for those who are curious about the art of cutting. If you would like to deepen your knowledge in this area, we recommend our Gem cutting workshop.

Individual experience in a single 4 hour session, by appointment. No experience in jewellery or gemology is required.
